Farmer’s tomato soup

1l beef broth
400ml (1 can) tomato sauce
400ml (1 can) petite diced tomatoes
1 red onion
1 (big) leek
1 celery stick
2 carrots
2 tbsp shopped celery leaves
3 bay leaves
1 tbsp paprika
salt and pepper
Chop onion, carrot, celery and leek. Add beef broth to a sauce pan together with the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Add the vegetables, bay leaves and paprika powder. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for hour to hour and a half. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with some fresh ground black pepper.
